Know Your Rights: Changes to The Professional Employees Award from September 17
Professionals Australia has worked for many years to establish overtime and penalty payments under the Professional Employees Award. This year, thanks to those ongoing efforts, the Fair Work Commission announced significant changes to work hours, including new requirements for employers requiring their employees to work above 38 hours per week.
You are invited to a two-part series of webinars about these changes.

According to a 2022 study by The Australia Institute, the average
Australian worker performs 6 weeks of unpaid overtime per year.
It’s critical that you know your rights under the updated Award. Being a union member means you will be armed with the necessary knowledge to identify any possible issues with implementing these changes in your workplace. You will also have your union support, expert advice, and representation if you are unfairly treated.
If you are not a PA member, come to Part 1 to learn more! If you are a union member, register for both sessions and forward this to a colleague who may be impacted to remind them that every member makes us stronger.
